As an in-demand and celebrated session and touring musician, Park's credits include playing guitar on Deana Carter's #1 singles "Strawberry Wine" and "We Danced Anyway," and Nellie McKay's "Sweet Mobile Home" and "My Weekly Reader" (produced by long time Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick) as well as extensive road and studio work with a who's who of country, rock and pop's finest (Phil Lesh, Blind Boys of Alabama, Johnny Tillotson, Olivia Newton John, The Eagles' Randy Meisner, Carlene Carter, Paulina Rubio, Kenny Loggins, Chuck Pyle, Lynn Anderson, Maxine Nightingale, Billy Joe Shaver, dozens more). Widely recognized as one of the premier guitarists working today, Park has been featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player magazine and has written articles for the prestigious trade periodical Fender Frontline. Park, who endorses D'Addario Strings, Line-6, and Fender musical instruments, also recently released his first guitar instructional video for MVP. Since his start with brash early 90's country rockers Boy Howdy, who barnstormed through the country scene, banging out 3 albums that produced a string of top 10 singles for Curb Records and 6 top videos on CMT, Park has gone at music full tilt. Subsequently, Park toured heavily trading riffs with for Jim Messina and as lead guitar for Bruce Hornsby and was regularly featured in the world famous Palomino club’s legendary house band. Along the way, Park got serious about his own music with the critically acclaimed 2010 album Lone, a stunning achievement in deeply emotional, thoroughly contemporary americana music expression. His current release Cary Park 2, is an appropriately impressive follow up, featuring a pair of two outstanding new songs.
